Este artigo apresenta um resumo e avaliação das principais interpretações de 2ª aos Coríntios 3 como texto chave da Nova Aliança, com destaque especial para as recentes revisões exegéticas desta passagem em diálogo interdisciplinar que a entendem no âmbito visionário apocalíptico como recepção paulina da transformação gloriosa de Moisés. Enquanto demonstra como um texto clássico pode ficar confinado a uma interpretação teológica, este método propõe novas leituras numa abordagem interdisciplinar.
